Freedom Our freedom's are not political. They transcend politics. That the mere thought of having to vote for the person you think wont take away as many of our "Natural Rights" is absurd. In less then a month it will be a New Year. Everyone makes resolutions, quit smoking, lose weight, work less. Why not make a resolution this year to do everything possible to gain back the freedoms we have lost? How about we start letting Washington know that we will not stand by as the country we love moves everyday closer to European New Order Socialism. Every day of every year for the past 80 or more we have lost a little bit of our freedom, it has been whittled away bit by bit so most people don't notice, and those who do cling to what is left and hope it lasts. Is that really being Free? Nationalizing health care, nationalizing the auto companies, buying up all the bad paper and debt from the largest banks in the country, is this really what we want? Do we want a federal government to control all these things when they cant even take care of their own backyard? Folks, the people in Washington work for us, we pay their wages with our taxes, we pay for them to fly back and forth on their private jets, we pay for their wardrobes and mansions and condos. Sitting idly by while people who are no smarter, wiser, tougher, or morally righteous decide our fates, is that Freedom? I challenge you folks, spend this next year fighting the soft war for our Freedoms, write your representatives, join a foundation that supports our Bill of Rights, hold our elected officials responsible for their actions, and if they stomp on one of your Natural rights, then stomp right back. Our founding fathers fought and died to get away from European control, thousands of all of our relatives died trying to get to America and away from Europe and its Monarchy's and fascist rulers, and socialist ideals. They knew what Freedom was worth. Do we? |
